Jude Litulumar is a Carolinian storyteller from the village of Kagman on the island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. As a young author, Jude published his first book in high school on traditional Carolinian stick dancing. Jude is currently a college student and a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship and cultural preservation. He reflects on the teachings of his mother and continues to learn more about his culture while encouraging his peers to learn more about their cultural identity while protecting our islands against climate-related threats and inequities.
