Danika “Shaye” Aguon​

Shaye is deeply passionate about giving back to her community and has years of academic experience studying sociology, criminal justice, and its intersection with Asia-Pacific communities. Having worked in various fields, including customer service and private law, Shaye is skilled at handling rigorous tasks while maintaining a positive environment.

Through her academic experience, she has been able to serve Asia-Pacific communities in the San Francisco Bay Area through mentorship and guidance, focusing on strengthening the mental health and well-being of participating youths at the Asia Pacific American Community Center. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Shaye is dedicated to advancing social justice efforts and rehabilitative approaches within the criminal justice system.

In her free time, Shaye enjoys traveling to new places and spending quality time with family and friends.
